The fun in bringing our kids around town.

What I like most doing with my son, Wayne is just take him for a ride somewhere and meet people and see the world. Not only is this good for expanding his knowledge about the world, but what REALLY I love about bringing him around is the free gifts and great comments. I remember once bringing chubby Wayne to the immigration department to get his passport done. While waiting for the approval of the documents, the immigration lady officer came out from her cubicle to play with Wayne. Then suddenly everyone starts to surround him and commented on how chubby and cute he is. A lot of people have commented how much Wayne and I look very much alike which is what I'm very proud of. Another time was when I was at a local market where they sell local handmade crafts. My friends were looking at some seashell bangles while I walked around carrying my Wayne letting him see all the wonderful crafts around. Before we left the stall, the lady suddenly stopped me and put a seashell bangle over Wayne's wrist - no charge. We've also got free drinks, balloons (3 at a go), food, toys and much more. The best part of it all is I get to enjoy these things as well. |
